A fantastic title, worthy of respect even among PC and console games. Oddmar is an excellent mix of action and platformer with some of the best graphics found on Android. It's a pretty valuable resource for tackling backlogs.

It is important to note that the full Oddmar adventure has 24 different levels. All this while completing puzzles, jumping between platforms and destroying monsters. In this time you have to try and take all the runes that you find on the way, as well as three coins hidden in each level. In Oddmar, levels last for around 5 minutes. Oddmar takes its name from the young, lazy Viking warrior that falls under your control at the outset. In the options menu, you can 'hide' the controls or leave them visible. With your left thumb you can move your character from the left to the right of the screen, while with your right thumb you can jump and attack. The Oddmar controls are perfectly adapted to touchscreens. It's a slightly better than average but pretty by-the-book 2D platformer with some pretty great art.Oddmar is a mix of action, adventure and 2D platformer where you control Oddmar, a Viking who has been cut off from the rest of his tribe, who decides to go on an adventure to show the world (and himself) the great power he holds within.

Less challenge, less variety, less to do. Fantasian is an exciting, new RPG set against a spectacular backdrop made from over 150 handmade dioramas that blends physical environments and 3D characters. It feels like a whole lot like a simplified Rayman Legends. It's pretty good but if this is our shining example, I don't hold out a ton of hope of mobile gaming ever being great beyond emulation and a few source ports. After playing it, I understand the comparisons: similar art and gameplay to Rayman.

I eventually bought it after it's Android release and was excited as I had heard it compared favorably to Rayman Legends and Tropical Freeze. He is shunned by his fellow Vikings and must redeem himself of his squand.

When I heard about Oddmar and how it was an example of what mobile could and should be: full premium game, reasonable price, no microtransaction nonsense.
